How to form a company with 1st Formations
A simple guide to registering your new limited company
1. Choose your package
The first step is to choose and purchase your company formation package. If you’re unsure which option is right for you, our guide can help you compare packages and select the one that best suits your needs.
2. Complete your application
Next, you’ll complete your online application. The form is simple and user-friendly, but if you need support at any stage, review our helpful walkthrough.
3. Complete ID verification
Once your application has been submitted, we will contact you to complete your ID verification. This is a standard requirement for all company formations in the UK. If you need assistance, see our step-by-step guide.
4. Submit your PVC code
If you already have your Personal Verification Code (PVC), you can send it to us at this stage. If you don’t have one yet, we’ll request this from Companies House for you. We'll also send you instructions on how to submit it to us.
5. Sit back and relax 😌
Once your application has been submitted to Companies House, most companies are formed within 1 working day, subject to Companies House processing times. Once your company has been successfully incorporated, we’ll email you your official company documents along with full details of the inclusions in your package.
