Step‑by‑step support to help you fill out and submit your company formation application

Forming a company is a straightforward process when you have the right guidance. This step-by-step guide is designed to help you through the application process effortlessly.

1) Particulars

  1. Company Name: Submit your company name and ensure to append "Limited" or "Ltd" at the end. The suffix should be separate from the rest of the name (e.g., "1ST FORMATIONS LTD" or "1ST FORMATIONS LIMITED", but not "1STFORMATIONSLTD" or "1STFORMATIONS.LIMITED"). Choosing between "Limited" and "LTD" is simply a matter of personal preference.

  2. Type of Company: The package you chose has predetermined your company type. Please do not alter this section.

  3. Jurisdiction: If your package includes our London address services, your company will be registered in England and Wales; this cannot be changed. If you are using your own registered address in another jurisdiction (e.g., Scotland), you must update the jurisdiction to match.

  4. SIC Codes: You may select between one and four SIC codes. These codes are not legally binding but are used mostly for transparency. It's recommended to choose codes that closely align with your business activities. While an exact match may not always be possible, aim for the closest relevance.
