Correcting an Officer's Date of Birth
Straightforward steps to amend incorrect date of birth information.
If an incorrect date of birth has been provided for a director or PSC, you will need to complete a specific filing depending on when the officer was appointed.
If a director or PSC was added as part of company registration
You’ll need to complete and submit 2 paper forms.
- The ‘Replace a document not meeting requirements (RP01)’ form.
- The section of the ‘Application to register a company (IN01)’ form for the director or PSC whose date of birth needs to be corrected.
-
You do not need to fill in the entire form. You only need to complete the sections relating to the details being corrected.
-
You must also include proof of their correct date of birth, for example a photocopy of a driving licence or passport. We also recommend including a cover letter that clearly explains your situation and outlines the correction you need to make.
