Understanding why you have been charged and how we can help
If you have seen a charge from 1st Formations that you were not expecting, it is likely related to a service renewal on your account. When you purchase a service from us, you authorise us to store your payment details and charge your card automatically at the point of renewal. This is known as a Continuous Payment Authority (CPA).
A CPA allows us to renew your services without requiring you to re-enter your payment details each time. This helps ensure there is no interruption to services such as your Registered Office, which must remain active at all times to keep your company compliant.
We will always send a renewal reminder to the email address on your account ahead of any charge being taken. If you have changed your email address and not updated it with us, these reminders may not have reached you.
