Documentation Requirements for Non-UK Residents Forming a Company in the UK

We have partnered with Onfido to offer a streamlined process for submitting your ID and address documents. Please see below for the required documentation.

ID Verification

For all customers and officers, we will request a copy of your ID. 

  • EU/EEA/Channel Islands/Isle of Man: Photocard driving licence, biometric ID card, or passport.
  • All other countries: A biometric or machine-readable passport only.
Proof of Address

Additionally, you must provide a documnet confirming your current residential (home) address. This must be:

  • A bank statement or utility bill (gas, water, or electricity)

  • Clearly addressed to you.

  • Clearly displaying your full residential address (not a business address).

  • Dated within the last 3 months.

  • In the original format (e.g. a downloaded PDF, not a screenshot).
