# Filing accounts through 1st Formations
## We can file your accounts if you choose our accounting service at incorporation, and we can form your dormant company accounts even if you don't form with us
### If you haven't formed your company yet
We provide a full accounting service through our ACCA-accountants to companies who form with us. You can purchase our [All Inclusive with Accounting Package](https://www.1stformations.co.uk/package/all-inclusive-accounting/) or add our [Accounting Service](https://www.1stformations.co.uk/accounting-service/) at the checkout with any other company formation package.
### If Your Company Is Dormant
If your company has not traded during the financial year, you may be eligible to file **dormant accounts**.
We offer a [Dormant Company Accounts Service](https://www.1stformations.co.uk/dormant-company-accounts/) to help you meet your filing obligations with Companies House.
- If you **already have this service**, when your filing period opens, you’ll receive an email notification containing a short questionnaire.
- Once you **complete and submit the questionnaire**, the team will prepare and file your dormant accounts on your behalf.
If you **don’t yet have the service**, you can [purchase it online](https://www.1stformations.co.uk/dormant-company-accounts/), provided your company qualifies as dormant.
### If Your Company Has Been Trading
If your company has carried out any business activity - e.g. transactions, sales, purchases, it is considered **active.**
In this case, you will need to prepare and file full statutory accounts. We do not provide accounting services to companies who did not form their company with us, and who didn't choose our accounting service when forming the company. We recommend you appoint a qualified accountant to prepare and file your annual accounts.
