What the Annual Tax Efficiency Review covers
What we do and do not review - explained
The Annual Tax Efficiency Review is included in both our Accounting Standard and Accounting Scale plans. It is a structured review of your personal and company tax position, resulting in a set of written recommendations specific to your circumstances.
What we review
- Your current salary and dividend mix and whether the split remains optimal for the current tax year
- Pension contributions: whether employer contributions from the company could reduce your Corporation Tax
- Benefits in kind: whether any company-provided benefits are being reported correctly
- Capital allowances: whether any planned asset purchases should be timed before or after year-end
- Your personal tax position: dividend tax exposure, Self Assessment payments on account, and any reliefs such as Marriage Allowance
- Your profit trajectory and whether approaching a Corporation Tax rate threshold warrants any action
What we do not review
The review covers tax planning relevant to a typical owner-managed limited company. It does not cover specialist areas such as Research and Development (R&D) tax credits, EIS or SEIS schemes, or corporate restructuring. These may be available as additional advisory services. Contact us if you think any of these may be relevant to your situation.
💡 Good to know: The review is included at no extra cost in Accounting Standard and Scale. It is one of the most valuable elements of the plan. The written recommendations typically identify savings that far exceed the cost of the plan itself.
